Drawing to CAD that is redrawn, not traced

We redraw your digital and scanned drawings by hand into clean, layered, dimensioned CAD files. No auto-tracing, no exploded text, no thousand-segment arcs. Just drawings you can edit with confidence.

What we draw

Old drawings made editable again

Automatic converters promise a lot and deliver a mess: broken lines, text turned into shapes, everything on one layer. Fixing the result usually takes longer than drawing it again.

So we draw it again, properly. Each sheet is redrawn at the correct scale, with your layer structure, real blocks for doors and symbols, live text and associative dimensions. Scale is checked against the scale bar and against written dimensions, and anything that can't be read clearly goes on a query list rather than into the drawing as a guess.

Estates teams, owners and design practices often hold decades of drawings only as PDFs or prints. Converting them turns an archive into something useful for alterations, space planning and maintenance.

Our approach

Every sheet is redrawn by a trained drafter and checked against the source by someone else, so the CAD file is reliable enough to design from.

Quality checks

Every sheet is checked twice

Four checks every drawing passes before it is issued to you.

  • Scale and dimensions

Checked against the brief, markups and written figures.

  • Layers and standards

Layers, text, dimensions and blocks match your CAD standards.

  • Sheet set

Title blocks, numbering, revisions and references all consistent.

  • Second check

A separate reviewer signs off every sheet before issue.

No. We redraw every drawing so the file is clean, layered and easy to edit.

We scale from known dimensions and written figures. If a sheet is distorted or unclear, we note exactly where, so you know what to verify.

Yes. Clear scans or even photos of prints work. Very faded or skewed sheets may need a site check on key dimensions.

Yes. We use your layers, text styles, dimension styles and title blocks.

Yes. We plan it in batches, starting with your priority buildings, and keep file naming consistent throughout.

Yes. If you need a model rather than CAD, we can build it directly from the PDFs.

A typical single sheet is often back within one working day. Large batches are scheduled in the quote.

Files are shared only with the people working on your project, through secure transfer or your own platform. We sign NDAs on request and never reuse your drawings, models or data on other work.

Use whatever suits you: email, a file-sharing link or your own common data environment. Within a working day of receiving the package, we send a short list of questions so nothing is left to guesswork.
