As-built drawings that show what was really built

Record drawings that show the building as it was actually built, prepared from contractor markups, surveys, scans and photos, and honest about where each piece of information came from.

What we draw

Records you can design from later

Buildings change during construction and keep changing for decades afterwards. When the only drawings are the original design set, every alteration starts with a site visit and a tape measure.

We pull together whatever records exist (contractor markups, measured surveys, laser scans, site photos) and update the drawings to the built condition. Where sources disagree, we list the conflict and agree it with you.

Every set notes which areas were measured, which were marked up and which were assumed. That honesty matters when someone uses the drawings years later for a refurbishment, a fire strategy or a maintenance contract.

Our process

From site data to records in six steps

A clear workflow that turns scattered site information into a reliable record set.

  1. 01

    Collect inputs

    Markups, surveys, scans and photos.

  2. 02

    Scope & quote

    Sheets, disciplines and deadline.

  3. 03

    Review

    Conflicts between sources listed.

  4. 04

    Drafting

Drawings updated to the built state.

  5. 05

    QA review

    Checked against every source.

  6. 06

    Organised record set issued.

Our approach

We record where every change came from, so the people using the drawings in five years' time know exactly what they can rely on.

Quality checks

Every sheet is checked twice

Four checks every drawing passes before it is issued to you.

  • Scale and dimensions

Checked against the brief, markups and written figures.

  • Layers and standards

Layers, text, dimensions and blocks match your CAD standards.

  • Sheet set

Title blocks, numbering, revisions and references all consistent.

  • Second check

A separate reviewer signs off every sheet before issue.

Ask our team

Contractor markups, construction drawings, measured surveys, laser scans, 3D tours and site photos, or any mix of these.

As accurate as the sources. Scans and measured surveys are the most reliable; markups depend on how carefully they were kept on site.

We work from information you or your surveyor provide. If something is missing, we tell you exactly what to capture.

Yes, from markups, scans or photos wherever services are visible.

Either. CAD drawings, or a BIM model with drawings when your client wants BIM records.

Yes. For older buildings we usually start from a measured survey or laser scan, combined with any drawings that survive.

A typical floor is often ready within a week, confirmed in the quotation.

Files are shared only with the people working on your project, through secure transfer or your own platform. We sign NDAs on request and never reuse your drawings, models or data on other work.

Use whatever suits you: email, a file-sharing link or your own common data environment. Within a working day of receiving the package, we send a short list of questions so nothing is left to guesswork.
