Quantity takeoff you can trace to the model
Measured quantities you can trace back to the model or the drawing, organised the way your estimators price. That means faster tenders, fewer arguments about numbers and a clear picture of what changed between revisions.

Faster tenders, fewer surprises
Where manual takeoff goes wrong, and how model-based quantities help estimators.
| Challenge | How we solve it | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Manual takeoff is slow | Quantities extracted directly from the model | Quicker tender turnaround |
| Revisions mean re-measuring | Quantities linked to model versions | Changes highlighted automatically |
| Numbers are hard to trace | Every line linked to elements and views | Auditable takeoff |
| Inconsistent structures | Outputs in your cost codes | Easy to price and compare |
From model to quantities in six steps
A clear, auditable process so estimators know exactly where every number comes from.
-
Step 1
Share your inputs
Models, drawings and cost structure.
-
Step 2
Scope & quote
Trades, rules and outputs agreed.
-
Step 3
Model check
Model completeness reviewed or built.
-
Step 4
Extraction
Quantities pulled by element and zone.
-
Step 5
QA review
Totals checked against drawings.
-
Step 6
Delivery
Takeoff spreadsheet with notes and views.
Quantities that match the design
Manual takeoff is slow and it has to be redone every time the design moves. Highlighters, scale rulers and late nights before a tender deadline are still common, and so are the mistakes that come with them.
Model-based takeoff counts and measures elements directly. If the model is good, the quantities are good, and they update when the design does. If there's no model, we build a quick one from your drawings first or measure from CAD, whichever is more sensible for the job.
Every quantity is organised by trade, level, zone or your own cost codes, and every assumption is written down. Your estimators know exactly what's included, what's excluded and where each number came from.
We work from
- BIM models (any LOD)
- CAD drawings or plans
- Specifications
- Your cost codes or BoQ format
- Measurement rules
- Tender deadline
Itemised quantities
Areas, volumes, lengths and counts by element type.
Zone and level breakdowns
Quantities split by level, zone or phase.
BoQ-ready exports
Spreadsheet outputs structured to your cost codes.
Model-linked takeoff
Every quantity traceable back to model elements.
Revision comparisons
Changes in quantity between design versions highlighted.
Measurement notes
Assumptions and exclusions recorded for estimators.
Structural quantities
Concrete, steel and rebar quantities for procurement.
Services quantities
Duct, pipe, tray and fitting counts by system.
Quantities checked by engineers
Our engineers understand how buildings are put together, so quantities reflect what will actually be built and bought, not just what happens to be in the model. Every project starts with a written quotation, a named point of contact and a firm delivery date, and you can begin with a small trial task.

Your standards first
We work inside your templates, title blocks, families and naming, so files drop straight into your workflow.
Qualified AEC team
Architects and engineers who know how drawings and models are used on real projects.
QA on every delivery
A separate reviewer checks accuracy, completeness and sheets against the brief before files leave us.
Work in your time zone
Shifts overlap US and UK working hours for calls, reviews and quick turnarounds.
Confidential by default
NDAs on request, controlled access and secure file transfer for every project.
Scales with your workload
Add capacity for a deadline and scale back when it passes, without hiring.
Work with us your way
Three simple ways to engage, each with a written quotation before any work begins.
-
Dedicated team
Full-time modelers who work only on your projects.
Best for Steady, ongoing pipelines
- Named team lead and modelers
- Works in your tools and templates
- Scale the team up or down monthly
-
Most flexible
Hourly
Pay only for the hours your project needs, from US$18 per hour.
Best for Changing or open-ended scope
- No minimum commitment
- Hours reported transparently
- Start with a small trial task
-
Fixed price
An agreed scope, fixed price and delivery date before work begins.
Best for Well-defined deliverables

Quantity takeoff questions
Quick answers about inputs, accuracy, formats and timelines for quantity takeoff.
Yes. We measure directly from CAD drawings or plans, or build a quick model first if that’s more accurate for the project.
Takeoff spreadsheets in your cost codes or BoQ format, with marked-up views or a model showing exactly what was measured.
As accurate as the model. We check its completeness first and list any assumptions so estimators know the limits.
No. We provide measured quantities for your estimators or quantity surveyors to price.
Yes. We highlight what has changed between versions, which makes cost tracking and variations much easier.
Yes. We can measure to NRM, CSI MasterFormat structures or your own in-house rules.
Small packages often come back in two or three working days. Larger takeoffs are scheduled around your tender date.
Files are shared only with the people working on your project, through secure transfer or your own platform. We sign NDAs on request and never reuse your drawings, models or data on other work.
Use whatever suits you: email, a file-sharing link or your own common data environment. Within a working day of receiving the package, we send a short list of questions so nothing is left to guesswork.
