Answers before you ask
The questions architects, engineers, contractors and surveyors ask us most, from what to send and how LOD works to pricing, security and turnaround.
Getting started questions
How we work, what to send and how to begin.
We’re a CAD and BIM production partner for architects, engineers, contractors and surveyors. We produce drawings, models, coordination and visuals for your projects, working inside your standards so the output looks like it came from your own office.
Architecture practices, structural and MEP consultants, general contractors and specialist trades, building and land surveyors, and owners who need reliable records of their buildings.
Whatever you have: drawings, sketches, PDFs, models or a point cloud link, plus your templates or a sample of a finished sheet, the deliverables you need and your deadline. A short scope note is enough to start.
Within one working day. A specialist reviews your package and replies with an approach, a timeline and a price.
Yes, and we recommend it. A small live task is the easiest way to check our quality, communication and turnaround before you commit to anything larger.
Always. We work in your templates, title blocks, families, layers and naming. Send one finished sheet from a past project and we’ll match it closely.
BIM services questions
Modeling, LOD, coordination and families.
It depends on what the model has to do next. LOD 200 suits massing and early design, LOD 300 suits design development and permit drawings, and LOD 350 to 400 suits detailed coordination and fabrication. Tell us the stage and we’ll recommend a level.
We work in the industry-standard BIM platforms and export in open formats for teams on other platforms.
Yes. We often pick up part-finished models, tidy what’s there and develop them to the next stage.
Yes. We federate every discipline, group clashes into real issues, assign owners and can run the coordination meetings for you.
Yes: parametric families built to your naming and parameters, tested in a project before delivery.
Yes. We set up templates, families and standards around how your office already works, then support a pilot project and train your team.
CAD drafting questions
Drawings, conversions and revisions.
Hand sketches, PDFs, old CAD files, redline markups, survey data and point clouds. If something is unclear, we ask before we draw.
No. Every drawing is redrawn by a drafter, at the right scale, with proper layers, blocks, text and dimensions.
Planning, design development, permit, construction documents, shop drawings and as-built records.
Small markup sets usually come back within one working day. Larger revisions are scheduled in the quote.
Editable CAD drawings and print-ready sheet sets as standard, plus the native model when drawings come from BIM.
Yes, based on the codes and checklists you provide. Your licensed professionals review, stamp and submit them.
As-built services questions
Point clouds, surveys and accuracy.
Most registered point cloud formats from any scanner. 3D virtual tour exports work too.
We agree a tolerance at the start and check the model against the cloud before delivery. At LOD 300, 15 to 25 mm is typical.
No. We work from data captured by you or your surveyor, and we’re happy to advise on coverage beforehand.
Scan to CAD if you only need measured 2D drawings. Scan to BIM if the design team will work in a model or needs 3D coordination.
Yes. Many survey practices use us as their drawing office, with drawings issued under their own name.
Yes: levels, contours, boundaries, trees and utilities, drafted from total station, GPS, drone or scan data.
Visualization questions
Renders, animation and VR.
A CAD or BIM model is ideal. Drawings, finish schedules and a few reference images help us match your design and mood.
Each image goes through clay, draft and final stages with your comments after each. Minor tweaks are always included.
First drafts are usually ready within a few working days. Animations typically take three to five weeks.
4K for screens as standard, and up to 8K or print size for brochures and hoardings.
Yes. We provide browser viewers, desktop builds and 360° panoramas that work on phones and laptops.
Per image or per film for a defined scope, or hourly for open-ended work. Views, model detail, resolution and turnaround drive the price.
Working with us questions
Pricing, payment, security and time zones.
Three ways: hourly for changing scopes, fixed price for well-defined deliverables, or a dedicated team for steady workloads. Every project starts with a written quotation.
By card or bank transfer. Our secure payment page accepts USD, GBP, EUR and INR.
Files are shared only with the people working on your project, through secure transfer or your own platform. We sign NDAs on request and never reuse your work.
Yes. Our shifts overlap US and UK working hours, so calls, reviews and quick turnarounds fit into your day.
Yes. Each project has a named contact who manages questions, progress updates and deliveries.
Email, a file-sharing link or your own common data environment, whichever suits you.
